Where is Northern Container located?

Northern Container’s office and warehouse is located at 5200 W. 73rd Street in Bedford Park, IL 60638.

What are your hours?

Northern Container’s is open Monday to Friday, office hours are from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm Central.

Our Shipping and Receiving Hours are from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Central.

How do I place an order?

Orders can be placed by phone at 708-496-1696, fax at 708-496-1908 or e-mail at info@northern-container.com. Currently, Northern Container does not offer the option to order via our website. We currently have some items listed via eBay, in smaller quantities, under the seller name norconus. Click here to be taken directly to eBay, to view the items listed.

How do I get pricing?

Pricing will vary based on volume. Please call us at 708-496-1696 or fill out our Request for Quote (RFQ) form. One of our Representatives will contact you with current pricing.

Do you have a minimum order?

Generally, there is no minimum order for Stock Items. Minimums apply to special orders and some instances where the manufacturer has imposed a minimum.

How can I pay for my order?

Northern Container offers Net 30 Terms upon approval of your Credit References. To be set up with Net 30 terms, fax your Company’s Credit References (3 major trade references and the name and phone number of your bank) on your Company’s letterhead to 708-496-1908. Please make sure to provide a contact name, phone number, fax number and email address (if available) for each reference.

For customers not interested in Terms, Northern Container also accepts Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express), Wire Transfers and Check in Advance payments. We do not offer C.O.D. shipments.

Can I get a sample of an item before ordering?

Please call us at 708-496-1696. We are usually able to offer a Free Sample of our stock items, although you may be required to pay shipping charges. Shipping charges can be paid by Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express) or by providing your UPS or FedEx account number.

What are your shipping charges?

We will always find the best rate when shipping an order, but customers are more than welcome to use their own carriers. Customers can provide Northern Container their carrier’s contact information and account number, after which Northern Container will arrange the pick up. For Customer’s who prefer to arrange their own carriers, orders can be held in Will Call.

How soon can my order ship?

Some orders can ship the same day, but generally orders for stock items ship in 1-2 business days. Special order items will vary.

Can I get my order delivered faster?

Orders shipping via UPS or FedEx can be expedited to overnight, 2 day or 3 day delivery. Those orders must be placed and confirmed before Noon Central Time. We will not ship an expedited order without confirming shipping charges with the customer first.

How do I request a catalog?

Due to frequent price changes by manufacturer’s and new products, Northern Container does not offer a printed catalog, we focus our attention on an up to date website.

Do you accept Returns?

Return Authorization is required. Please contact us at 708-496-1696 regarding the return of any items. Returns without a Return Authorization will be refused. Returns are accepted only up to 30 days after the original ship date. Custom and/or Special Order items cannot be returned. Stock items can only be returned if they are in the original packaging and are in re-sellable condition. Some items may incur a restocking fee.
