As the US has begun to see production delays, due to the national shortage of steel, Northern Container proactively sourced products from additional manufactures to keep our customers running.
As Northern Container is already a distributor for the main manufacturer of paint cans in the US, Mauser Packaging Solutions, we had to look for a manufacturer outside of the USA. Northern Container was able to source paint cans made in Mexico. These cans are identical in size to the cans made in the USA. The Paint Cans are still constructed of tinplate (tin-coated steel) and are available lined or unlined. Unlined cans have the same finish on the interior and exterior. Lined cans have a grey epoxy phenolic lining on the interior.
If you have paint cans and lids from another manufacturer, we do not advise mixing your inventory. We are unable to guarantee a proper seal will be made if using products from 2 manufacturers. Please keep your inventory clearly separated in ordering these cans.
